Initially, the candidate who fills this role will serve as the Subject Matter Expert responsible for the innovation of Strategic Services in the Business Intelligence arena for our clients. Part of this services innovation will include the development and articulation of a common Business Intelligence services methodology and vision. This position requires an individual who is able to fill two very different roles. The first is the role of an entrepreneur, capable of designing and growing new services and business opportunities that are aligned with the company's direction and needs. The second, but equally important, role is as a leader within the industry. Experience and demonstrated proficiency with the design and creation of complex reports for senior executives is essential, as is knowledge of current reporting tools (Cognos a plus), scorecarding methodologies, data warehousing and strategy. The preferred candidate will have a strong background in institutional research and demonstrated leadership in the field of business intelligence, reporting, and business process analysis. The candidate should have a strategic understanding of academic policy and procedures, financial aid, budgeting, and possess a competitive drive to succeed. This position requires strong managerial experience, analytical and planning skills, an excellent written and presentation. Position Requirements Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience: * Experience in professional consulting, business intelligence, reporting, metrics development, business process analysis, planning, and new services development * Proven demonstration of an entrepreneurial mind-set * Ability to execute with efficiency and quality * Proven history of effecting positive change in work environments * Positive, team-oriented individual with the ability and desire to motivate, lead, and innovate * Ability to create, and develop solutions that have the capability of transforming the way higher education conducts their business in regards to student recruitment and retention * A minimum of five years of experience within the higher education sector * Strong understanding of technologies including; enterprise wide systems, web technologies, content management, document management, identity and access management, data warehousing, reporting, dashboards, scorecards Desired Skills/Knowledge/Experience * Fluent in Spanish or French * A minimum of five years of experience within the higher education sector * An advanced degree in one of the following areas is preferred; enrollment management, planning, business strategy, management, higher education, organizational development, information technology, and / or communications Candidate Must Have : * Business Intelligence * Reporting * Institutional Research Email resume in Word to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Please include the job code for the position with your resume.
