Technical/Product - WPF/C# Software Application Consultant
In this position, you will be part of the core development team for a
Real-time Front End Trading application. The current system, written in
C#/WPF, requires continued design, development, and support as the Traders
have ongoing needs. The right candidate must have excellent real world .NET,
WPF, and general User Interface experience.
Required Skills
Minimum 3 years experience in object-oriented design and development
(OOP).
Exceptional .NET skill set with at least 2 years industry experience
developing client software in C#.
Demonstrated expertise developing complex thick-client GUIs throughout
full GUI concept and development lifecycle.
Strong software architecture background.
BS in Computer Science or related field.
Excellent grasp of software engineering principles including development
and release lifecycle processes.
Ability to learn a new industry and technology quickly.
Good at working both alone and in teams on disparate tasks - highly
motivated with initiative and self-management skills.
Exceptional problem solving skills.
A passion for learning new technologies and best practices in software
development.
A working knowledge of Java.
Experience with real-time messaging platforms.
Preferred Skills
Experience in Agile Methodologies (eg, Nunit, Unit Tests, and/or Test
Driven Development (TDD).
Professional development with C++.
Experience with Server-Side Java development.
Knowledge of visualization techniques, 2D/3D.
Knowledge of 3rd party open source frameworks, such as Spring &
Hibernate.
Experience with trading or financial software, especially real-time
systems.
