Position: Project Manager position for the infrastructure team
Length is 6 months+.
Location: Austin, TX
Rate: as low as possible

The essential job requirements for the Workers are:
A. Provide a central source of knowledge for project, give guidance to
keep the team focused and delegate tasks to the correct individuals.
B. Manage vendor performance and project deliverables for accuracy and
completeness.
C. Reviews and evaluates customer requirements related to MPLS services.
D. Drive and implement project plans through to completion (taking
ownership, identifying key tasks, team members, developing timelines,
identifying critical success factors and managing to successful outcomes).
E. Define project success factors and metrics. Influence project
stakeholders, across multiple, sometimes disparate groups, to reach
alignment and achieve project goals.
F. Strong communication skills and proven success defining, managing,
and delivering success with complex projects.
G. Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies based on MPLS
and managed security services.
H. Other duties as assigned.
Other Special Requirements:**
Shifts are staggered between 6:00 AM through 12:00 PM Monday – Friday. On
call hours and Saturday Sunday hours may be required. Change management and
Issue management may require early morning hours (12:01 AM to 5:59 AM).

Experience in deployment and design of large scale service provider MPLS
networks and associated Customer VPN architecture

Experience in Project Management of building data Networks

Experience and understanding of SONET technology based on Cisco products

Experience with Cisco security solutions and products

Experience and understanding of DWDM technology based on Ciena products

Experience in Wireless LAN architecture and deployment

Understanding ITILV3 process and concepts

Ability to take direction, manage project leads within the team, and work
independently when needed.
Strong
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Works under
limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and
independent judgment.
