*Minimum Qualifications:*

*Functional and Technical Competencies:*

1.            Experience working in eCommerce industry managing high volume
applications

2.            Expertise in application development with IBM (Sterling)
Order Fulfillment Suite.

3.            Experience in XML, XSD, SOAP and REST Web services.

4.            Familiarity in web technologies like JSP, Ajax, and JQuery is
a plus.

5.            Expertise in at least one application server; Apache and/or
JBoss.

6.            Subject matter expertise in building large scale retail B2C
web applications using:

a.            Supply Chain and Logistics Systems

b.            Order Management Systems

c.             Configuration Deployment Toolkit

d.            Inventory and Pricing

e.            Commerce Platforms (e.g. ATG, Sterling Selling Suite,
WebSphere commerce)

f.             Caching technologies (Couchbase)

g.            Database technologies – Oracle (Cassandra, Mongo DB, Mysql is
a plus)

7.            Comprehensive SDLC experience including:

a.            Strong design skills – use of UML, patterns.

b.            Agile and waterfall implementation principles and practices.

c.             Use of version control management such of SVN, CVS, or
perforce.

d.            Production environment deployment and maintenance.

8.            Ability to analyze and design data model.

9.            Solid hands-on understanding of DB for the Web environment.

10.          Performance tuning and optimization for scalability and high
availability.

*Interpersonal Competencies:*

1.            Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and
non-technical audiences, executive and technical, inside in the company and
in our partners

2.            Strong organizational and planning skills

3.            Ability to anticipate potential problems and offer solutions

4.            Timely and proactive communication skills

1.            Persuade / influence team members, sell ideas effectively,
get results and follow through, both within Wal-Mart and in our partners
