Duration: 3+ months Location: Frederick MD Prime vendor submissions Telephonic interviews: No hidden layers High priority Contract type only Competitive rates REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of experience in design and development of ETL processes and jobs as well as multi-dimensional design (preferably using SSIS and SSAS on Microsoft's SQL Server platform) Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 ETL skills (SSIS) and process design, repository design, and creation BI OLAP design (SSAS) and development (Reporting, Analysis, and Integration) Application architecture design to include data modeling, implementation, and integration skills Experience in complex BI environments with TBs of data and numerous metadata sources Desired Skills: Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Business Intelligence (SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS) implementation, administration, and maintenance Experience creating enterprise, actionable metadata Prior architect experience for BI initiatives, including system and database design and requirements; architecting for data consistency and performance; data store architecture and creation; and UML Dimensional Modeling Responsibilities: Analyzed business requirement to design data warehouse and create logical and physical database models Developed and created the database objects including Tables, Views, Stored Procedures, user defined functions, indexes and complex queries with SQL2005 Created and maintain jobs, analyzed error logs for trouble shooting Designed and developed and improved complex SSIS projects to transform and load data from multiple data source into databases and built a mechanism to make reloading easy for data management. Installed/migrated SSIS packages from Development Environment to Production Environment Created SSIS packages to load data from OLTP data model to OLAP data model which is used for Cube and other applications Used SSAS to create/maintain OLAP Cubes which are based on multidimensional database with star schema Created perspectives, partitions, drill through actions and KPIs to enhance Cube utilization which will provide users with various helpful aggregated information to fully understand the financial/sales/transportation information from multiple perspectives Thank you so much indeed for your time and Space.
