*Rate: $35/hr..* *Job Position: .Net Developer** Job Location: Phoenix, AZ ADOT Duration: 3 years* Job Description: This project will develop new applications for the Arizona Department of Transportation, Contracts & Specifications and Construction Groups. The Contact Management Application will support the identification and management of all internal and external organizations involved in highway construction projects. The Highway Project Management Application will support the bid/award, contract management, and project start-up of ADOT highway construction projects. The Field Automation Application will support inspection and payment documentation for ADOT highway construction projects. The Department is seeking a proposal from firms capable of providing an individual who will be responsible for architecting user interfaces, business components, and persistence mechanisms necessary to allow end-users to dynamically support these applications. Technical Requirements Application will be written in ASP.Net/WPF/C#/Linq/SQL Server 2005. Milestones and Anticipated Deliverables 1. Development of the Contact Management. Highway Project Management and Field Automation applications. a. Architecture definition, detailed design specifications, and use case scenarios. b. Create user interfaces, and administration screens per design specifications c. Unit, System, and Integration Test Results. d. Peer Reviews to confirm group programming standards are being followed. e. User, System, and Deployment documentation. f. Knowledge transferred and trained FTE Staff. 2. Converts data from the existing database into the newly designed database. 3. Interfaces built to other systems. a. Integration with existing project and construction systems. b. Integration with the Advantage Financial System. 4. Project Progress Verification. a. Weekly Project Status reports. b. Attends meetings as required Skill Set Requirements Required 1. Minimum 4+ years programming in Microsoft environment. 2. Minimum 2+ years in ASP.Net experience. 3. Minimum 2+ years in C# experience. 4. Minimum 2+ years SQL Server experience. 5. Minimum 1+ years in AJAX experience. 6. Minimum 1+ years in Linq 7. Must have Microsoft Office experience. 8. Must have database design skills. 9. Must have data conversion experience. 10. The ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with end users, management and programmers. 11. The ability to analyze user needs and design effective systems. 12. Problem solving requiring solutions using several languages in the client server, multi-tier, multi-server environment. 13. Knowledge of full lifecycle software development, which includes requirements, analysis, design, coding, systems testing, documentation, and implementation. 14.
