The platform is comprised of many products & technologies like IBM WebSphere Portal, EMC Documentum, Content Runtime Services, Synaptica, etc. These products are used to not only implement dynamic delivery but also provide a comprehensive platform to implement portal based applications w the features like authentication, user profile, personalization, customization etc. OBJECTIVE . Business requirements gathering for Channel portal . Metadata requirements and defining metadata strategy . Create a roadmap for migration of channel sites to the new platform by aligning to business requirements IN SCOPE . Identify and understand stakeholder expectations . Interactions with business users to collect requirements . Define metadata strategy that enrich personalization, search, user experience The BA will focus on understanding the stakeholder requirements and create a plan which will incorporate the new functionality while migrating the channel sites to the new Web Network platform. ACTIVITIES: a.. Understand the current channel portal functionality (including info on content and metatags) b.. Identify stakeholders' expectations around the new channel portal c.. Perform the gap analysis to understand the new portal capabilities d.. Interact with business user to collect specific business requirements around: a.. Search b.. Design a Content Migration Plan (if part of the scope) DELIVERABLES . Channel portal requirements - Set of capabilities that the business is looking for . Gap Analysis document - Document describes the gap between the capabilities that the channel business needs and the IWN platform . Metadata Mapping Document . Content migration plan - High level approach to migrate the content from the existing channel site to the WN portal . Migration roadmap, approximate costs and timelines. Daily Responsibilities:- · Work with the channel stakeholders to understand and document their business requirements · Analyze and document the gaps between the capabilities required and the WN platform · Define content migration and Metadata mapping · Outline a roadmap for migrating the channel site to the IWN platform · Estimate the team structure and the timelines involved in the migration Necessary Skills (Must Have):- a..
