Requirements: Java / J2EE / HTML, Spring, Eclipse, PHP, Tomcat, Weblogic Application Server, Oracle Data Base Scope of Work: The candidate selected for this position will be part of a Java Web & Portal Development team responsible for a variety of applications supporting corporate functions. The candidate will be responsible for development of new Web-based applications using existing and emerging technology platforms and practices. She/He will also be involved in developing enhancements and supporting existing Transaction Reconciliation and Real Estate Management applications. The candidate will be expected to perform his/her duties without close guidance and may be called upon to lead small teams of junior developers. Qualifications: Ideal candidate would have experience with established J2EE technologies and understanding of design patterns as well as an aptitude for learning new technologies and working in teams implementing efficient solutions. The candidate would also be expected to provide technical support during the Quality / User acceptance testing and Production support in addition to the implementation duties. •Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field. •At least 4-5 years experience in designing, developing, and testing of Java / J2EE / HTML applications •Understanding of the process of software design, development and implementation following the systems development lifecycle (SDLC) •Hands-on experience in design and development of web applications using object oriented methodologies •Understanding key design pattern •Familiarity with Spring or similar framework •Working knowledge of tools and technologies like Eclipse, PHP, Tomcat, etc •Experience with Weblogic Application Server preferred •Ability to write stored procedures and complex queries in Oracle DB •Some knowledge of Visual Basic or MS Office macros is a plus •Strong analytical and problem solving skills, self-starter and good team player •Must be able to communicate technical concepts to a wide range of audiences Thanks & Regards, Fazal Mahmood Aspire Systems Inc.
