Successful candidates will: Skills • Master of Markup and tools of the trade:* Coda, Sublime, TextMate, etc*. • Master understanding of *XHTML/HTML5 and CSS.* • Master understanding of *JavaScript and jQuery.* • Able to complete tasks independently and as part of a team. • Able to manage deadlines for concurrent projects and multi-task. • Perform effectively in a demanding work environment. • Thorough understanding and support of web design and development from slicing and dicing mocks to deliverable markup and interaction with backend frameworks. • Understand complex systems, processes, and relationships. • Creatively solve problems and constantly learn new things. • Be extremely digital-oriented. • Be decisive – value feedback but don’t require it to make decisions. • Be empathetic – customer needs are foremost in their mind. • Be fast-paced and crank out quality with speed. • Care about and understand browsers and the latest web-enabled technologies. • Be able to speak and understand coding lingo. • Have excellent writing and communication skills. • Be comfortable with *Notepad++, Sublime Text, Coda, or Terminal*. • Mastered experience with GIT or Subversion version control systems. • Be successful multi-taskers. • Have a Github account! * • Nice to Haves / Experience with: Server-Side Tech, Nodejs, Ruby, Python, PHP, Linux, etc.* Responsibilities • Rapidly prototype designs. • Convert PSD files and/or wireframes to the web browser. • Be extremely comfortable writing and supporting DOM interaction. • Build cross-browser ready front-end code (IE6-10, FF, Chrome, Safari.) • Produce clean, technically accurate files (HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, etc.) • Use Angular JS and other JS frameworks. • Understand and use Version Control (Subversion, etc.) • Work in an iterative Agile development environment. • Complete work correctly and efficiently to meet deadlines. • Effectively communicate code standards and specifications. • Share knowledge across product teams and lines of business. • Manage numerous projects at one time.
