Design, create, test, manage and maintain relational database applications
for the department' within IowaGrants.gov using Microsoft Access, SQL,
Reporting Services, Java Script and other database programs.  Applications
must adhere to IDPH standards; are inclusive of IDPH program requirements
and IowaGrant.gov protocols; and are designed in collaboration with the
departments' Contract



Administrators within the bureau.  Develop, manage and maintain
applications for:

Tracking, monitoring and reporting state-wide program performance and
contract compliance.

Tracking, monitoring and reporting state-wide program achievement of
federal  mandates.

Tracking, monitoring and reporting financial status of specific funding
sources inclusive of budget, obligations and balances.

Investigate problem areas and assist in resolution of data processing
problems.  Modify database applications as required.  Serve as the first
point of contact for state-wide IDPH IowaGrants.gov users providing
technical support for system/user concerns.  Independently investigate
problem areas and provide timely, satisfactory and accurate resolution of
issues.  Communicates directly with the IowaGrants.gov contractor regarding
highly complex service requests.

Maintain the integrity and security of the statewide IowaGrants.gov
system.   Verify, authorize and manage external customer requests for
access to ensure accuracy within the single state government registry.
Determine and authorize appropriate access permissions of internal and
external customers.  Assign internal customers to specific and appropriate
funding opportunities for application processing and to subsequent grants
for the management and reporting of program activities and expenditures
based on internal customer role.

Develop, maintain and update reference materials and user training manual.
Assist in creation and delivery of focused trainings based on identified
customer needs
