Role : Application Developer;/Sr Developer for the Supply Chain Services Location L: Hershey, PA Duration : Long Rate : Best Request for an Application Developer;/Sr Developer for the Supply Chain Services Delivery and Optimization Team. Major activities include maintaining and optimizing the Supply Chain SAP applications in Logistics and Manufacturing. This position will be responsible for maintenance, support, and enhancement of transportation, distribution, warehouse management, production planning, and other supply chain SAP applications. Candidate must demonstrate an understanding of ABAP development. A broad understanding of multiple technology platforms and supply chain functions and systems is a plus. The position will collaborate with internal customers, I.S. colleagues and other stakeholders to understand user requirements, assess available technology solutions, and translate the business process requirements into technical solutions. Candidate must understand the standards of existing enterprise technologies. Position will provide programming expertise within the SAP platforms; develop, refine, test, and debug batch and real-time business applications for use in a multi-platform environment including interface components, reports.
