*Job Title: PeopleSoft DBA * Location: NYC Duration: 2 months approx. to begin with Rate: Best SPA_PSFT Inst, Migr, Ptch, Upgde/DBA Seeking a PSFT DBA to assist with performance testing. Resource will work with functional SME to determine run control requirements for PayrolI Interface processes. - Administer and coordinate testing of three streams of batch jobs. HCM, FIN, and new Payroll Interface. A key deliverable is a run book with instructions for the new PI processes. These will be automated with Control-M as much as possible. - Client will run the jobs, but consultant must coordinate the run times and collect server metrics and job logs. - Coordinate backup and restore activities with off-site DBA. - 5000 OLTP users will be running at same time. Consultant to manage GSD load runner technical resource. - Review job, database, and server metrics, make recommendations on how to improve performance if needed. Results to be presented in the PeopleSoft Compass PMT 120 format. - Tools 8.50, DB is 11gR2.
