*Overview:*
We are in the process of establishing an Operational Command Center that
will display operational dashboards for different lines of business
including key business clients.
*Individual*
The individual will have strong business and data analyst skills as well as
experience with business intelligence tools. The tool of choice is the
Tableau solution.
The candidate should be comfortable communicating with senior management
and working closely with business leaders in soliciting business reporting
requirements.
*Responsibilities:*
Support the Business’ ad hoc analytical needs (research, analysis,
business modeling)
Obtain and document reporting and analysis needs – the business
requirements
Decompose the business requirements into one or more reusable reports /
products
Define / establish seamless connections to source data systems
including internal transactional systems (SQL), Oracle, Facets, Sales Force
and other Third Party Business Partner Systems
Develop canned / Ad-Hoc reports and complex dashboards in Tableau or
other like BI software as needed
Define / Develop SQL queries, Stored Procedures, and data mining as
necessary in collaboration with the business area subject matter experts
Support the development of Data Warehousing and BI solutions in support
of the cross-functional teams
Project manage all tasks, with clear ownership of timelines
*Qualifications:*
Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in Computer Science or similar work
experience
Minimum three (3) years of Tableau or BI solution and 3-5 years of
working SQL experience
Strong analytical mind with attention to detail
Thorough understanding of relational database systems
Ability and eagerness to understand and, when necessary, create the
business needs and ensure that the reports, data model, and database meet
such business needs
Strong verbal, interpersonal, analytical, and problem solving skills
Dashboard creation experience
