Job Title: Peoplesoft Testing Lead

Location: San Carlos, CA

Duration: 5 Months

The client is in the midst of a 3 ½ year PeopleSoft Project in which they
are upgrading 3 different releases of PeopleSoft to 9.1. FI (8.4 -9.1),
EPM(8.8-9.1) and HCM (8.9-9.1). They are looking for a testing lead to help
manage the UAT for FI, HCM and EPM. This consultants will be responsible
for creating and managing testing plans as well as overseeing testing
execution. This resource may also help with creating and writing test
scripts for the business and executing the test scripts. They use HP QC for
their testing tool.


Here are the day to day duties:

• Lead customer testing phases, typically User Acceptance Testing

• Monitor and control / validate contractor SIT phase and results

• Work with business representatives, PMO and contractor to plan, design
and manage the tests

• Analyze test requirements to cover all modules implemented to include:
GL/AR/BI/PC/CA/AP/PO/KK/GM/CM/DM, HCM and EPM/Budgeting & Forecasting

• Perform technical activities such as running queries to validate expected
results and analyze discrepancies with actual results

• Maintain and administer HPQC UAT project for the District

• Monitor and run ad-hoc reports to validate contractor SIT tests

• Ensures and validates that the Systems Integrator performs all necessary
testing prior to project for go-live; to include but not limited to
performance testing, regression testing, help desk testing, disaster
recovery testing, back up testing, etc.

• Other duties as assigned



Musts:

PeopleSoft Testing Lead experience

Experience creating and executing testing plans

Experience supporting UAT for FI

Can create and execute PS test scripts

Functional business understanding of Peoplesoft FI (won’t do config but
they need to understand the business side of testing FI)

PeopleSoft upgrade experience
