Skills Required: MUST HAVE ALL REQUIRED SKILLS TO BE CONSIDERED.

3-5 years of experience developing Web-based applications utilizing Java
technologies
Experience with the following technologies is required: *JEE, JSP,
JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Web Services, JPA, SQL, Oracle WebLogic, Hibernate*
Experience utilizing Rational Build Forge, Eclipse, Apache Ant, and
Rational Team Concert to build projects is desired
Experience with the following software: Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Business
Process Manager, Apache Web Server, Oracle Database is strongly preferred
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
A minimum of 1 full life cycle custom software implementation
Experience facilitating Joint Application Design sessions
Experience developing screen mocks up for clients to review
Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments
Good oral and written


JAVA Developer #5 Role Expectations:
Develop software application components requested by the functional team in
accordance with the Solution Architecture Design
Assists with the configuration of the software components (e.g. web server,
app server, etc).
Prepares component design documentation used internally and externally
Represents that technical team in JAD sessions
Able to identify potential technical challenges with proposed functional
designs
Provides bridge between the functional team (business SMEs) and the
technical team (developers)
Provides technical guidance to the functional and testing team
Assists with creation of technical design documentation
Expertise in Commonwealth and WCAG Accessibility standards
Expertise in the Solution Architecture Design and the related components
used by the technical team to build the RMVM solution
Must be able to drive problem-solving strategies for complex issues that
involve cross-functional disciplines
Has the ability to read, understand and identify technical gaps in the Use
Cases defined by the Functional Team. Once the gaps are identified, then
this person will works with the technical/functional team members to
identify a plan to resolve the gaps.
The person will also work directly with the developers to answer technical
questions about the Use Cases.
