Client: Financial Rate: Open Term: Very long term( 24m)+ Location: Boston/KS This DevOps Services Engineer will work with application development teams and operations teams to onboard applications onto the SDLC platform tools, controls and processes for development and code deployment using the company’s established continuous integration and delivery practices. The candidate will need to lead the validation of requirements, develop modules and tune the platform components for performance – working in an agile fashion to build quick and easy solutions to enable adoption, ensure portability to the platform. The candidate will work with senior staff, script automation code and document and follow software development best practices. –Work closely with application/operations teams to gather requirements and onboard applications in a collaborative and agile fashion –Write scripts to automate common system management and operational tasks –Provide Jira, Stash, Jenkins, Sonar, Jira, Confluence, Splunk, and Openstack expertise and support. –Analyze continuous integration and development needs for the platform and generate ideas for review and implementation –Continually research and evaluate SDLC tools, adopt and implement best practices from the industry –Provide 24x7 tier-1/2 troubleshooting and break-fix support for production services. -knowledge on Java Qualifications –B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience required –4+ years of relevant experience in supporting software implementations post deployment –Strong Unix/Linux experience required –Familiarity with Cloud based infrastructure in public or private clouds (Amazon, Openstack, CloudFoundry) –Familiarity with SDLC tools including Jira, Stash, Jenkins, Confluence –Advanced proficiency in scripting languages (Python, bash scripts), database technologies (Oracle, MySQL, Redis), and networking protocols used for the implementation of supported systems -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "J2EE_J2EE" group.
