Hmm. It appears that the postgresql driver does use the queries if they
are present. I'll do some science experiments and let everyobody know how
they go.

As far as I can see it does not.
It seems that queries are now (since a long time, anyway) are hardcoded
in ar_init (authreg_mysql.c:425)
