I have built jabberd 2.1.23 with the following options
--prefix=/usr/local/jabber' '--enable-ssl' '--enable-ldap'
'--enable-mysql=/usr/local/mysql/' '--enable-idn' '--enable-debug
I am trying to connect to Active Directory for authentication but I keep
getting username/password failure using AdiumX. Below is my LDAP config:
<ldap>
<host>172.16.2.30</host>
<port>389</port>
<binddn>cn=Intranet Account,cn=Users,dc=somedomain,dc=com</binddn>
<bindpw>somepassword</bindpw>
<uidattr>sAMAccountName</uidattr>
<basedn>dc=somedomain,dc=com</basedn>
</ldap>
I am able to query the AD using these parameters with ldapsearch but
jabbered doesn't want to let me in. I do not see any ldap connection
errors in any of the log files but I do not see an error.log file
anywhere. Is error.log part of jabberd2 or only 1.4? Any help is
appreciated.
