-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi
we are using latest jabberd2 with authentication against LDAP and mysql as storage backend. We have some self-written script to populate a roaster for certain users with other users holding them. We do this by querying LDAP and then filling the table `roster-items`and `roster-group` with the specific informations. Subscription is always on both sides. So what we do is putting in `collection-owner`, jid and setting 'to' and 'from' to 1, and another entry with `collection-owner` and jid reversed. This works quite well and the roster is populated for all users. However in the clients they seem to be not yet authenticated for users which haven't yet logged in once. This means that if I have [EMAIL PROTECTED] in my roster populated I get it in the list but the subscription is only - From and not Both. Which leads to some icons (in pidgin) near the roster-item, which isn't that annoying. However in other clients like Kopete, Gajim or Psi this leads to some annoying error pop-ups like 'Logon System Messages "Authorization removed"' on _every_ login. I don't yet see where the problem may lay, nor which fields I have to fill up as well on the server to get rid off these messages. Anybody have an idea? Please consider also the attached logged and snipped XML-Stream: [1] If you need further Infos, please let me know. thanks and greetings Marcel - --- [1] Foobar = a not yet logged in user.
