I have configured Jabber according to http://jabberd2.xiaoka.com/wiki/InstallGuide/BasicConfiguration#set-sm-c2s-hostname
The install was via yum (fedora8). I installed gajim on both the server and a windows machine. I created 2 accounts, loged in to each, one on Windows and one on server. I added the other name in connection list on both. Both connect to server, but I get the error below in log file (name is the one in contact list). My machine name is bayou, domain is acadia.land and both forward and reverse lookup work. BUT, WHY is it trying to 'lookup' a Username in DNS???? I looked in the mysql jabber2 database and the account names show up there.
