# yum list | grep openssl
openssl.i686 0.9.8e-7.el5 installed openssl-devel.i386 0.9.8e-7.el5 installed xmlsec1-openssl.i386 1.2.9-8.1 installed xmlsec1-openssl-devel.i386 1.2.9-8.1 installed openssl.i386 0.9.8e-7.el5 base openssl-perl.i386 0.9.8e-7.el5 base openssl097a.i386 0.9.7a-9.el5_2.1 base

Hello
I installed openssl and the problem remains.
I just did "yum install openssl"
Did you installed from source?

Jip, thats right...
I'm using openssl 0.9.8h from our home-grown distribution.

Have you made sure that you installed the -devel-packet as well?
