I am following the documentation about using svscan (actually part of the larger "daemontools" package) with jabberd from their web page:
http://jabberd2.xiaoka.com/wiki/InstallGuide/Daemontools Interestingly, svscan itself seemed to think that jabber was running fine, if I ran "svstat /service/*" they all showed up as running. However when looking at the log files, there was zero activity. Before I made changes, I backed up the configuration files at /usr/local/etc/config-xml-files-before-daemontools-svscan.tar. I used the backup to restore things to the previous config just now, in fact. Any suggestions about what I am doing wrong? Thanks, Joel
