I have set up a jabberd2 server and was wondering the exact difference between traditional and SASL.
I understand what SASL does, but what is the "traditional" tag for? Can I just omit it if i'm using SASL? Is it required? Why put a digest-md5 tag, for example, in both "traditional" AND "SASL"... Thanks for your help in clarifying. <!-- Available authentication mechanisms --> <mechanisms>
