Now I'm using jabberd2 with ubuntu, the dpkg -l jabberd2 output is here:
ii  jabberd2                2.2.8-2.2ubuntu1 i386             Jabber
instant messenger server

In fact, I still do not know how to add -D for jabberd2-sm, the jabberd2 is
started by:  sudo service jabberd2 start.
