Dear JabRef developers, at the moment there are more and more complaints that the current beta of JabRef only produces text output when started because most users still use JRE 1.4.
In the last days, I tried my best to make visible on our web pages that the beta needs JRE 1.5 or newer. Today I changed the link of the beta download button to the beta section of the download page. There you can read again in red letters that you need at least JRE 1.5 before you finally download the software.
