Sounds quite useful. I have my .bib in a SVN repos, and now do merge
from the command line etc...

One thought... instead of using something like kdiff3... is it not
possible to use the JabRef find-duplicate-entry code to resolve
conflicts... not easy, I'm sure... because the conflict lines do not
really care about BibTex entry borders... It would be a lot easier if
it was possible to have a database consist of *many* .bib files...
say, one per entry...
