Hi, there haven't been any negative reactions to the proposed switch to Git, so Kolja and I decided to go ahead with it. For this reason the SVN repository is closed for further commits. A HOWTO on checking out and using the Git repository will come shortly, but for those who know Git the instructions here can probably be sufficient:
