Hi,

we're getting close to the planned release time (no specific date, but
something like next week) for the 2.8 version. I have some problems
with spending enough time on JabRef these days, for different reasons,
so I don't quite have the overview over what is missing and what is OK
for the release. Some points I am aware of:
- There are some problems with the biblatex mode, some has been fixed,
but not all
- Some of the entry fetchers are not working or working well (Google
Scholar, IEEExplore (?))
- SQL export/import has been reworked by Igor Steinmacher et al., and
is somewhat untested, but resolves serious problems in the beta

Are there other important points? Are there activities that need to be
finished before release?

Morten
