thanks for the feedback. I have established a PayPal account with the user
name "jabrefm...@gmail.com", as well as a user account for that Gmail
account. Donations to the JabRef project will go to this account. I have
the credentials to those accounts, but we can transfer those if someone
else wants to take responsibility.
If no one has strong objections, I suggest that we try the deal with
DownloadBestSoft.com, and add a second download link on the web page. The
download page is simple and easy to use, and from where I'm sitting it
seems to be faster than going to SourceForge for the download. We will get
access to download statistics. We can evaluate after a few months whether
we want to continue.
