I found the issue: commit 720f485454e7624b72f9c191 from 2013-01-09
removed the linebreak formatter.

I like the idea of not being forced to render line wraps as empty
lines in the.bib file.
Therefore, I changed the parser.
As the change of the above commit is already contained in the beta, I
also put my "fix" in the beta branch.
