Hey,

Should we switch to
https://sourceforge.net/p/jabref/mailman/jabref-devel/? I CCd it and
ask to follow up there :)

The student team working on JabRef also consists of members using
Linux. Therefore, I assume that OpenJDK issues will also be
discovered.

(FYI: Their work can be tracked via the "stupro" label:
https://github.com/JabRef/jabref/issues?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=label%3Astupro+)

We are working on automated UI tests at
https://github.com/JabRef/jabref/pull/507. Since we use both TravisCI
and CircleCI, we could switch one to OpenJDK. However, both TravisCI
(https://github.com/travis-ci/travis-ci/issues/3259) and CicleCI
(https://circleci.com/docs/environment) do not offer support for
OpenJDK yet. The good news it that it seems that TravisCI will add
support for it soon.

We should work on creating automated tests for that, too. Help wanted ^^

Nevertheless, a test team would really help in even further improving
the quality. For instance, I don't know how we can automatically test
OSX or Windows setups (for free ;)). Therefore, a test team would be
great!

Cheers,

Oliver
