François, you could make a custom export matching the format you want, and then use the function to export only selected entries. However, it may be easier to just copy-paste the citation from the preview panel (at the bottom of the JabRef window). You can modify the preview in Options -> Preferences -> Entry preview. If you want a copy-friendly (or e-mail-friendly) preview as well as one just for within JabRef, you can redefine one of the two layouts and switch between them with F9.
