Dear JabRef users,

as you may know, there exists a JabRef plugin for interfacing with
OpenOffice Writer (also works with LibreOffice). The plugin provides
cite-as-you-write functionality where you can put in references in
your OpenOffice document from JabRef, and automatically generate a
reference list based on the contents of the entries you have cited.
Information about the plugin can be found here:

http://jabref.sourceforge.net/OOPlugin-jabref.php

The plugin relies on style files for determining the formatting of
in-text citations as well as the reference list. The style file format
is partly based on a set of properties, and partly on JabRef export
syntax, and is described on the plugin web page.

We plan to make a list of style files available on the JabRef home
page (see http://jabref.sourceforge.net/OOPlugin-styles.php).
Currently the list is very short, but we would like to expand it. If
you have style files that you would like to share, you can post them
on this mailing list or directly to me, and we will add them to the
list.

Sincerely,
Morten Alver
