Hi Felix,

there are no restrictions on the use of JabRef, so you can definitely
use it, whether in a commercial setting or not.

The restrictions in the license cover distribution, roughly speaking
it stops you from distributing JabRef bundled with proprietary
extensions and things like that, but these are not of any concern to
normal users.
