Hi, it turns out I can reproduce this on my work computer, which has Windows 7 64-bit, similar to the original poster. The colors are not visible in the menu items, but they do work (does this match what you are seeing?). It is probably an issue with drawing the menu items in the Windows 7 look and feel. I'll take a look at this and see if I can fix it.
