The home server is disconnected from the net unless I need it to be, so 
it is a 4 mile sneaker-net connection -- not possible at the moment.  I 
also do not know for a fact that there is anything in the build which is 
architecture sensitive (this is an x86 machine and home is an amd64...). 
True, java should be immune to such things, but...

BTW, some stuff came up at work and it is very possible that this will 
not happen tonight as the students have a deliverable tomorrow and as 
their advisor need to review a bunch of stuff...
