Hi Hanno,
Assuming you don't want to treat each volume as a separate reference,
with one parent crossref which is common to all 10 records, then you
should be able to simply put in the volume field, an entry such as
*'1--10' *or even *'Volumes 1--10'*.
Cheers.

Hi,
I cannot find any way to enter works with several volumes in Jabref,
for example:
Francis Bacon, /The Works of Francis Bacon, baron of Verulam, viscount
St. Alban, and Lord high chancellor of England/, 10 vols., London 1824.
Has anyone got an idea?
Thanks very much
Hanno
