Hi,

I'm sorry this hasn't been answered before. I think the problem stems from
the use of the .doc format. Unfortunately, the reference marks which JabRef
inserts in the LibreOffice document are lost unless you save in the .odt
format (OpenOffice/LibreOffice's native format). You can, of course, save a
copy in .doc format, or use that format after you finish the document, but
while you are working on it you have to use .odt.
