I am using JabRef 2.9.2 in biblatex mode on Linux. The entries in my bib file
have the journaltitle field instead of the journal field. When I click on
"Tools >> Abbreviate journal names (ISO)", or when I press Ctrl+Alt-A, nothing
happens when the name of the journal is unabbreviated and present in the built
in list of journals. If I manually change the field from journaltitle to
journal, then Ctrl+Alt-A abbreviates the journal name as expected. Am I doing
something wrong? Is this a known bug with biblatex mode? Is there a work around?
