JabRef Users: I am a newbie to this list, so I apologize in advance if this question has already been answered.
I am running JabRef 2.10 on Dell laptop with 8Gb RAM under Win 7 SP1. I have a .bib file with 5300+ entries. I have noticed JabRef to be slowing down considerably, especially on startup. What is the maximum size, if any, of the .bib file? At what size is JabRef's performance noticeably decreased? Should I split the .bib file into multiple smaller files? Any advice? Joe Joseph F.
