First a problem description:
I have been using jabref for a while now, and like it really much. However,
I struggle with customizing the BibTeX key generator the way I want it. I
would like to create a key on the following form:
[author][year][First letter of the three first words]
First I thought that I could do this by a combination of :abbr and title or
shorttitle, but it does not give the wanted result. I have also tried using
the regular expression environment for replacing parts of the key (for
instance when using the title command), but it seem to work in a different
way than other regex tools I have used before.
Does anyone know if there are any method of automatically generate the
BibTeX key in this way, or does it need more features from Jabref? I would
greatly appreciate an answer in either direction.
