Dear users,

We are currently investigating the importers of JabRef.

We discovered that Springer and IEEE export "EndNote" as RIS Format
and that EndNote imports the RIS-Format perfectly.

Content of original endnote files is like `%A Author`, whereas RIS
uses `AU - Author`. See also
https://github.com/JabRef/jabref/pull/321#issuecomment-157391191 for a
discussion.

Example: http://link.springer.com/chapter/10.1007/978-3-662-44879-3_8#
-> "Export citation" -> "Select Download" -> "EndNote (RIS)"

Question 1: Do you import/export using the "old" EndNote format or do
you use the RIS Format?

Question 2: Would you mind if we removed support for the "old" EndNote format?

Cheers,

Oliver
