Dear users, We worked hard to get JabRef 3.1 ready on Christmas. Please download it via http://www.jabref.org/#downloads
Version 3.1 contains many fixes and improvements. The most important improvement is the writing of BibTeX entries. Now, only changed entries are rewritten according to JabRef's writing settings. All other entries remain unchanged. This should ease collaboration with users using old versions of JabRef. We really, really need more developers. There are many small issues, which should not cause much effort to tackle. However, the current development team doesn't have the resources to handle them, since there are many other issues that addressed somehow. The current way of contributing seems to work fine and also is proven to be suitable for Java newcomers - at least in two cases. So, please think of how you can help to improve JabRef. In case you are interested, please have a look at https://github.com/JabRef/jabref/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md Merry Christmas to everyone!
