Dear Bernhard, Several bugs related to groups were found in JabRef 3.3. Part of them have been solved (or are going to be solved soon ; see <https://github.com/JabRef/jabref/pulls?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=is%3Apr>).
Could you try with the development version? (<http://builds.jabref.org/master/>) (You may prefer for the pull request related to groups to be merged before checking). Cheers.
