Hey,

Greetings from JabCon (https://jabcon.jabref.org/). We are working to
get release 5.0.0 alpha ready. It would be nice if you tried out the
latest build: https://builds.jabref.org/master/

Especially the UI was redesigned (again).

In case your issues remain, it would be nice if you opened one at
https://issues.jabref.org. This would help us getting the mass of open
issues handled.

Maybe, you have to write "Lastname1, F. I."?

Depends on your usage of JabRef. When you use Bibtex with certain
bibtex styles, the title automatically changes. Most users do not want
that...

The highlights are written down at http://blog.jabref.org/.

I think, you search for https://github.com/JabRef/jabref/blob/v4.x/CHANGELOG.md.

In addition to our new release, following things are fixed:

Cheers,

Oliver
