Oliver,
As time permits. I've two clients each with needs that require my full time
attention. I'm left with little time for anything else.
I assume, you are working on Linux with the secondary buffer.
I run Slackware-14.2/x86_64 and in the 20+ years I've used linux I've not
looked closely where highlighted text is stored until pasted elsewhere.
This is not possible with our new graphical framework. We are tracking the
issue at https://github.com/JabRef/jabref/issues/2389
Okay.
2. On the 'optional' page for article data entry the left column is
sufficiently wide but the right column is too narrow. For example,
there's one-character-wide box for volume number, but when I type the
number with the cursor in that box nothing is entered there. It is
entered in the wide window on the right which displays information
entered on the 'required' tab; the issue number shows up but not the
volume number.
Can you show me a screenshot. It looks good here:
I'll do that before downgrading to 4.3.1 so I can use JabRef now.
3. The format for multiple authors has changed. Where I used to enter,
'last_name, initials and last_name, initials and ...' now there is
'last_name, initials; last_name, intials: & ...'. Should I change how I
enter authors to use the new syntax?
No, please don't the Syntax did not change.
I'll show this on the same screenshot as above.
I don't get where you have the information from? I tried and everything
works well:
Sometimes things work on some hardware/distribution but not on others. I've
learned that Slackware-14.2 does not fully support the Ryzen7 CPU in that
desktop and am looking forward to the release of 15.0.
Regards,
Rich
