I am waiting for Douglas Crockford to weigh in before I decide to apply that patch or not... Also, the fix was only applied on the "legacy" jsonrpc.js on the trunk but not the new jabsorb.js which is a redesign. I didn't have time to do that - but I will later if I have time- also the new unit tests were only checked into the 1.3 branch as the unit test infrastructure seems to have changed quite a bit on the trunk as well.
