It would be very-very useful to add ability of making cross site ajax requests.
For the first step implementation of GET as described in
http://www.mellowmorning.com/2007/10/25/introducing-a-cross-site-ajax-plugin-for-prototype/
would be enought for me :-)
I think POST need to be cross site too, but don't know how to implement it.
Because of we can't get content of iframe in Firefox 3 for example.
