It might be possible to expose all jabsorb packages to javascript using an
applet. This way, javascript clients would be able to use the same code as java
clients, and still be asynchronous.

Applets are able to make cross-site request (with crossdomain.xml, like flash),
so this might be interesting. Unfortunately the java browser plugin isn't as
widely deployed as flash.
