what would need to happen with Jackrabbit in order to pave the way for adding full CalDAV support?
My dead body, most likely, since CalDAV is the worst perversion of HTTP that I have seen so far. I will veto its addition to mod_dav and jackrabbit. HTTP is supposed to be independent of the content being exchanged -- every new content type does not need an entirely new application protocol.
